Merseyside giants Everton  have ended their winless streak in the Premier League following the win over Arsenal at the Goodison Park on Monday night. It was the first win in nine Premier League outings for the Toffees.

Everton went into the Arsenal game on the back of an eight-game winless run and a five-point deficit over the relegation zone. The Merseyside giants had to do it the hard way after they came from a goal down at the half-time break to score two second half goals in the space of ten minutes to seal a 2-1 victory at the expense of the Gunners.
